January 2026 brings the official launch of the 2026 edition of the SWITCH Marathon during the World Economic Forum in Davos (19 – 23 January 2026).
This year’s Marathon is dedicated to policymaking, starting with the launch during the WEF. By becoming part of the conversation in Davos, SWITCH aims to highlight the central role of food systems in global policy debates on sustainability, health, and resilience.
Switch will organise and gather 500 people with its Edible Connection format, structured around 5 core themes, each designed to spark reflection and dialogue through food:
- Roots & Soil;
- Microbes & Flavours;
- Heritage;
- Future Tapas;
- Roots to Community Dialogue.
These themes will serve as entry points for dialogue, aiming to raise awareness of the global interconnectedness of food systems, as well as to encourage critical reflection and constructive intercultural dialogue.
We warmly invite you to visit us and join the SWITCH Marathon launch, if you will be in Davos during the World Economic Forum.
