In September, the SWITCH Berlin-Brandenburg Hub will officially start its activities!
On September 26-28, 2024, a 3-day-kick-off event in the Baumhaus project space will bring together core stakeholders, including several members of the Berlin neighborhood food hub network. The network will be central to all SWITCH activities in the city-region, as they aim to unfold the potential of neighborhood community cooking.
For at least a full year, monthly “Werkstatt” events will provide the core structure for the co-creation activities, providing opportunities for everyone to meet and for synergies to emerge. They will usually take place on the last Saturday of the month, and the 2 days before (Thursday – Saturday).
Already starting at the kick-off event, the last day will be all about practical action, prototyping and testing co-created ideas and tools at a public community cooking evening with neighbors.
