Occitanie region, the leading producer of organic and quality food protected by labels in France, is experimenting with innovations to improve the connection between agriculture and Montpellier’s food system for sustainable, healthy, and inclusive dietary patterns. Montpellier brings together both populations with high levels of education and revenue, and populations suffering from malnutrition. The region also includes hot spot of biodiversity and faces increasing climate risks.
